The STEINWEG PM-LIFT is a powerful rack and pinion hoist designed for the transport of passengers and materials on site. 

The cage has the capacity to take a wheelbarrow or a standard 1.20 x 0.80m pallet.  Bulky goods such as plasterboard and scaffold can be transported with the 1.50 x 0.65m roof door open.  When transporting materials with the roof open the hoist can only be operated from the control panel at the ground station. 

The unique design of this hoist is its ability to traverse.  Whilst the cage travels in front of the scaffold or building with the safety distance of 50 cm, for loading/unloading or entering/leaving the cage automatically positions itself directly in front of the landing gate at the desired level, making operation absolutely safe.
