Southern Hoist Services has expanded quickly since it began in 1992, we have gained a reputation for quality and service at affordable prices, and have become one of the leading hoist hire companies in England. On 15th March 2004 we joined the Claude Fenton Group of Companies, and have increased our field of expertise to include powered access and contractors plant. We cover a large region of Southern England and Wales, with depots based in Southampton, London and Swindon. Our site will show you a full range of hoists from small scaffold hoists to 2000kg/22 person passenger hoists. We also offer transport platforms and have one of the largest fleets in the UK.
In addition to our very competitive rates, we also offer an excellent back-up service, including next day call-out within specified areas. We offer a quick quotation service by e-mail, with follow-up site surveys prior to delivery, this ensures every aspect of the installation runs smoothly on the day . We also supply detailed method statements and risk assessments for each contract upon request. All of our erectors and fitters are trained in-house and by the manufacturers, and are fully equipped with harnesses and safety lines in compliance with HSE regulations. We are 100% CSCS and, as members of CHIG we continue to monitor health and safety issues concerning the use of construction hoists and make improvements with the Health & Safety Executive and the manufacturers.
